Evidence of prolonged bad weather |
It was snowing as we got ready to leave Powderwood. Drifts around the parked cars and long icicles showed how good (or bad depending on your point of view) the weather had been for the previous week or so.
It was still snowing and overcast as we started to ski. I skied with Chris in the morning and Cathy joined us after lunch. We tried to alternate the more difficult runs and cruises throughout the day.

After lunch, Cathy joined Chris and I. One of our challenges was Nail Driver with freshly forming moguls. Chris was fine; Cathy was nervous and tensed up.

At the end of the day we all came back together at the base area for a daily visit to Cookie Bear, a shop that was a combination cafe, selling cookies, and Teddy Bear shop.
